My Husband Justin and I journeyed into Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, Maine to meet this wonderful family for a portrait session. It was our first time shooting at this location and it did not disappoint...from lighting, to breathtaking scenery, to the sounds of crashing waves pounding the shoreline! We walked along a path that wound though some forest, offering several points of entry to the incredible rock formations and ocean views below. The smells, sights, and sounds offered an intense backdrop to a fun and care free experience. This is what they mean when they call Maine "Vacationland" after all!
The warm summer air was filled with the story of this moment. A story of love, laughter, and excitement. A story of a family coming together to capture the essence of what they are about, who they are.
This little one danced across these fantastic rock formations with joy and laughter! She was free in that captured moment of time and space...free to dance and twirl and skip around...not a care in the world.
Grandpa says, "Let's go Yankees, Let's go!" and the little one flashed a huge smile!
